We love to host EPIC Surfing Birthday Parties. Our exciting and positive events are an amazing way to celebrate. We organize and run birthday parties that are perfect for all ages and ability levels.
From the surfing equipment, canopies, tables, umbrellas, boogie boards and games to the fun Aqua Surf instructors – our team brings the surf vibe to your party.
Friends and family can enjoy the sun and share the excitement of riding waves.
Our celebrations combine fun surf lessons with an epic beach party.
At our parties, we make sure everyone is included in the fun. We provide a safe and rewarding surf experience for all participants.
We will supply all the equipment needed. We have wetsuits for all ages and body types and surfboards for all sizes and ability levels.
Our events begin with a dynamic “Land Lesson.” Before we hit the water, instructors teach the fundamentals of surfing and surfers can practice their technique on the sand. We cover positioning, paddling, surfing stance, and the pop-up. Our engaging lessons are tailored to your group and will get everyone STOKED!
Once we cover the basics, our instructors will guide your group into the water. Based on the experience level of the group and the wave conditions, the instructors will create a plan for a safe surf session.
We start out children and first-time learners with one-on-one instruction. More advanced surfers can surf by themselves with our supervision and guidance. Everyone will be catching waves in no time!
When not surfing, attendees will love playing in the waves and encouraging their friends. We also facilitate games like capture the flag, put on sand castle contests, and organize other fun beach activities.
Partygoers can cheer on the surfers as they watch from the shore. We provide canopies and tables for you to host an awesome party on the beach.
Our team specializes in safe, positive, and effective surf instruction. Similar to our Summer Surf Camp Programs, we staff every party with a minimum 3:1 Student to Instructor Ratio to ensure maximum water safety.
Our Birthday Party base rate is $895 for:
10 surfers for 2 Hours (+ $75 for each additional surfer)

8 surfers for 3 Hours (+ $99 for each additional surfer)

It’s your party. We want to make your celebration extra special. At Aqua Surf, we are stoked to make your party totally unique and totally unforgettable. We can plan fun beach games, add boogie boards, or organize special activities. We can arrange catered food or provide additional party supplies.

Aqua Surf’s events are usually held at our permitted beach locations (please reference Camp Locations page for location details.)

A: All participants, regardless of experience, receive an Aqua Surf Land Lesson, which covers the fundamentals necessary to hit the waves. Participants always start their surf session with one-on-one instruction from an Aqua Surf instructor. Surfers can only be cleared to surf alone by an instructor (determined for safety based on experience and surf conditions.)
A: Birthday parties include 1-2 beach canopies (10X10ft), a table for birthday goodies and can additionally include umbrellas, beach chairs, or a beach volleyball set as rentals. We find that shade and a “base camp” is important for beach parties. We have it set up for your arrival and break down the heavy rentals at the end of the party.
A: Attendees do not need to surf if they do not want to. At Aqua Surf, we do not force anyone to surf if they are not ready. We only charge for the attendees that will take a surf lesson. You can invite as many other spectators and party goers as you wish.
Alternatively, we can do a Boogie Party if no surfing is requested and just bring boogie boards and provide safety supervision.
Note: It’s important you let us know the number of surfers before the event so we can staff accordingly.
A: Yes we can add a photographer for your party to capture the moments and take photos of all of the surfers as they surf. Our party photography rate is $249 and includes land, surfing, games and water (if requested) photos. We’ll edit the best shots and deliver them to you within 5-7 days.
A: Food and drink catering can be arranged at an additional cost. We provide catering options through our local restaurant and beach kitchen partners. Many delicious options can be delivered to the beach. Our favorites include breakfast burrito platters, empanada trays, and pizza delivery.
